Duffy’s Tavern & Grill was founded in 2008 by David “Duffy” Cluff and Shawn Spencer with a simple goal: to create a welcoming neighborhood spot where families, friends, and visitors could gather over great food in a relaxed setting. The original Duffy’s opened in the historic Lafayette Center on Main Street in Kennebunk and quickly became a local favorite for both year-round residents and seasonal visitors.
From the beginning, Duffy’s has been rooted in the community, offering a comfortable place to come together for casual meals and good conversation. Over the years, it has built a reputation for consistent, approachable food and a friendly, laid-back atmosphere that keeps people coming back.
